Neil R. Montague

Neil is an experienced litigator in the areas of family law, criminal defense, and civil litigation. He is originally from Provo, Utah but was raised in the Greater Philadelphia area.

Neil graduated in 2003 from Brigham Young University with a bachelor's degree in European Studies with an emphasis in Spanish, then completed his Juris Doctorate in 2007 at Villanova School of Law in Philadelphia. During his time at Villanova, Neil served as a staff editor for the Sports & Entertainment Law Journal and clerked for Villanova Distinguished Professor, Joseph Dellapenna.

After graduating from Villanova, Neil worked for seven years as an Assistant Public Defender for Delaware County in Pennsylvania where he primarily handled felony cases. In 2014, Neil relocated to Rochester to be closer to his wife's family. Since moving to Rochester, Neil worked with the Third District Public Defender's office in Winona and has and continues to devote some of his spare time performing legal work for non-profit organizations. In 2021, Neil earned an MBA from Western Governors University.

Neil joined Navarro Law Firm in 2023, where he handles custody and child support matters, dissolutions, criminal defense, and civil litigation.
